    Thanks for reading,

I'm using a Bolex Paillard P1 and have noticed the disturbing trend of the fps not being consistent as of recent. Even more disturbing is the fact that on my last shoot the Camera has made the most lamentable sounds while pulling the film through...clacking sounds, the inconsistent fps has gotten worse as the camera now actually stops and goes. Also I find myself winding the camera perhaps two turns and then hearing a click at which point the spring loses all tension. I'm desperate to find a way to have this old beauty cleaned and fixed, the idea of shelving it is heart breaking.

    Thank you for any advise.
